Terry Treetop and the little bear by Tali Cami Ebook review

Terry Treetop is a young reader book series that explores nature through the eyes of an eager and curious young boy.

I believe the Terry Treetop series is getting better with each book. The illustrations have more details in them and young children will like the actions of background characters while older children will like the dialogue and independence of Terry on his adventures.

Terry's back yard is a near by woods. In this book Terry finds himself over joyed with the fact that winter is over. Terry starts exploring signs of spring from his tree house. He sees an well detailed snail and a pair of pigeons. As Terry looks outside of his tree house he sees violet crocus flowers in his garden.
Terry breaks out in song and rhyme. Terry sees a curious bear cub and they begin to play from a distance.  When Terry's new furry friend "Barry" is called back into the safety of the woods by his mother, Barry gets in trouble and Terry has to help him out. Terry uses tools in his environment to problem solve the situation and the mother and baby bear are reunited.

My daughters 6&8 enjoyed this book and we would definitely recommend to other children and librarians. This is a great read aloud and the illustrations are beautiful and boldly colorful. You can purchase this book on Amazon.com for a $1.00 for Kindle or a paperback book, large print for $7.55 or free for kindle unlimited members at :

I find that the Terry Treetop  series is adequate in length and my 6 and 8 year old daughters love it. We find this series to be fun and informative about animals, their habitats and how a human should react when encountering one; whether they are in danger or like us, curious. Like I stated the illustrations  are far better in this latest addition as well as character history and details. It is a very enjoyable series and has a sister series for a more scientific, slightly older crowd with a main character called Abigail. Abigail rides on a magical bicycle with a picture book of different places on earth. She problem solves and learns about different terrains and cultures.

Here is a link to my review of Abigail's most current adventure as of this post date :
