Body Merry Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream Review

Body Merry’s Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream is just that - a natural and organic formula consisting of organic cocoa butter and shea butter, alongside lots of pure plant oils and vitamins. This cream provides intense moisturization and nourishes your skin to help visibly reduce the appearance of existing marks and scars, whatever be the cause. Not only that, it effectively prevents the formation of new ones.  Like all our products, it is free from harsh chemicals such as parabens, sulfates and phthalates.

                                                                                           - Body Merry

Body Merry is a new company that produces skin creams such as age defense eye cream, cellulite defense gel-cream, and a few different kinds of serums.
All of their products are deep moisturizers that consist of organic chemicals that leave your skin firm, moisturized and healthy. You can also rest at ease as none of their products are tested on animals so rub away!!!

This review is about Body Merry’s Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Creams made from organic cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamins E, C, B3, B5, and plant oils such as sunflower, hempseed oil, grapeseed oil and many more.

To start off I like creams because they don't clog up your pores as much as oils and they are absorbed better by the skin.
Now to get to the nitty gritty, I love Body Merry's cream because by massaging it into my scars and stretch marks it replenished my skin and provided a level of moisture that honestly I have not found in any cream I have tried! I have only used it for a month but my stretch marks have made a significant decrease is size and have gotten lighter. I do believe that my stretch marks will disappear.

My other concern was, my dry skin, my feet and heels in particular.

Because I live in New York and we are having a terribly cold winter my feet were starting to crack horribly! I could take chunks off of the back off my feet, there were folds after horrible folds. I could not find anything to keep them soft. I applied Body Merry’s Stretch Marks & Scars Defense Cream in the morning every day right before I put my socks on and within the first day I saw a difference, within a week my heels were so soft I forgot the nightmare I had 2 weeks prior!

I have never really tried cocoa butter before because I felt it didn't work for me. But this isn't just pure cocoa butter, it is mixed with natural and organic oils that nurture the skin and penetrate deep into the skin leaving it soft and elastic, this cream is wonderful. It is thick and but not heavy or oily. The smell is soothing and the ease that this product goes on with is simply amazing! I could sing a song about how soft and healthy my skin is. Plus the glow! I have sensitive skin and rash easy , this product did nothing but make my life better! I am very satisfied with the results. I have been using  it for weeks now and it is worth the money to buy! What I would like to see is a container in a bigger size (it currently comes in a 4 fl oz container) and a full body moisturizer.

My favorite place besides my stomach to put Body Merry Stretch marks & scars defense cream  is on my feet, but I have passed it on to my daughters as well, so they could put it on their legs during this cold season and there is no better feeling then the feeling you get when you see your babies looking healthy and not ashy HAHA!!!

More of my personal opinion : Exercising and drinking water help decrease stretch marks along with rubbing moisturizers to stretch mark areas and around them. You have to keep the skin moisturized and improve circulation by rubbing, this will help your skin was tighter.

This product definitely supplies the moisturized punch that you need to kick start the stretch mark and scar "removal" process. Now it will not happen over night, but you will see a big difference quickly and to help reduce stretch marks you should drink water and exercise. The truth is that this cream is so deep that it will help greatly! And you can purchase on amazon at :

Beltane Ten Tales of Witch craft book created by Rayne Hall review

Beltane Ten Tales of Witch craft pulls you in with its first story using wit and humor. But don’t be fooled!

Even in the first tale there is enough creep to raise your neck hairs. All 10 tales have spine tingling moments that make you wish you read this during the day.

From psycho paths genies with hormonal problems to killers with amnesia and deaths better off  left alone  this book delivers with nightly fury.

Ten Tales of Witch craft takes you back and forth between the States and England. You can not be more happy with the diversity of the plots and locations. The stories take place in small towns, in the past and affect the poor and lost to the the rich and unworthy.

I would recommend this book to anyone who does, is interested in, or just likes to hear stories of Witch craft.

Cutlass: 10 Tales of Pirates created by Rayne Hall book review

10 Tales of Pirates is a great adventurous story book with a vast diversity. As soon as one story finishes you are thrown into another place altogether. May it be a cursed island, New Orleans or in vast space Cutlass: 10 tales of Pirates has you covered.

This book also has its own share of female leads unlike a lot of pirate books where the woman is not allowed on ship or has to obey the men, you will find women taking charge and giving all to prevail or just walking away.

There are many many different types of stories, brothers finding them selves on the waters, a lost lovers betrayal, space battles, unlikely alliances made sea monsters and the occasional look for treasure Arr!!!

I recommend this book for anyone who wants to jump in an adventurous book and get lost in knee high leather boots, unforeseen adventures and salty wind in their hair.

Kibble Talk by Cynthia Port- A children's book review

Kibble Talk by Cynthia Port is the first of 2 books and it is about a girl named Tawny who was dared by her best friend Jenny to eat kibble bits. Tawny gained the ability to hear and speak to dogs. She soon shows large amounts of empathy to dogs she encounters, Jenny's dog wishes that they would wash him and her own dog Dinky wants to be a lap dog with all the bells and whistles. The only problem is that Dinky is a Great Dane!

I would recommend this book to the the kind of person who loves dogs, adventure and wants to understand dogs in a humorous way.

If you like my blog and you've read or want to read this wonderful book, please make sure to check out book #2 Dog gone Dinkey.

My daughter enjoyed reading this book and found it very humorous. I enjoyed the connections and bonds that were  made. I especially like how Tawny was thoughtful and tried very hard to work through problems and situations to make her friends happy. #aquietplace4mom #kibbletalk

Paper Mate Ink Joy 300 RT pen review

The InkJoy® 300 RT features an extended rubberized grip for optimal comfort in writing. The translucent color-tinted body is modern and stylish, while the metal clip provides long lasting durability.

I have spoken to, shared and even GIVEN AWAY!!!! one of my precious pens ;) (the red, didn't think I needed it, as everything I do is perfect :) .
I am what you call a "pen lover" and I have flaunted my Paper Mate Ink Joys every where! I have loved colored pens since I was in 5th grade! When they were clear plastic and only came in cap tops or multi-color jumbo pens! But, today I will talk ablout the Paper Mate Ink Joy 300 RT. These pens were so comfortable to write with and so smooth! As soon as I figured out the orange tip was removable I wrote to my hearts content! HaHa!!! I found the rubber grip comfortable and not bulky or awkward to hold.  I wrote grocery list, Hashtag lists for Twitter and Instagram, I wrote personal notes and doodled. There was no bleeding of color or skipping and the ink dried fast so there was no smugs no mater how fast I wrote!

These pens came in 8 colors but are also available in black only. And have a sister pen the Ink Joy 500 RT that has a more professional look that also comes in color or black.

Paper Mate 300 RT  are decently priced at $6 to $8 and come in 8 and 12 packs. They are sold in Walmart and every big store.

These are my # hashtag lists that I am working on to better my blog and post on social media.

Just Dreams by L.J Tylor book review

I could not put this book down!

As the 1st book of the Brooks Sisters Dream Series, this book comes off as a pure winner. I could not recommend this book enough! There is something for every one. The humor of Kathy Brooks, the main character, reminds me of Abby Mills (the leading female role on Sleepy Hollow). If there is ever a movie made from this book I could definitely see her playing the Kathy's role.

This book takes place in modern day Miami. The scenes flow well together and are moderately paced, which never leaves you out the loop or drags on for endless pages. The book over all had a modern, witty, realistic and suspenseful feel to it; husband loses wife to a freak accident, bent on revenge he hires Kathy, a lawyer learning how to fly solo,  to go after one of the biggest government contractors to prove they were in the mitts of illegal activity during the accident that killed his wife.

All the relationships are well thought out and very genuine. The dialogue runs smoothly and the only faults in the characters are the ones created by the author. I cannot wait until the next book is released and I definitely look forward to more works by L.J Tylor! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense with a warm touch of romance.

L.J. Tylor was born the oldest of 6 children in my home town New York city and has always loved literature. When she isn't writing, she is a lawyer in Miami, FL .

Abigail and the North Pole Adventure book review

Cheyenne age 8,
(My daughter)

I thought that the book Abigail and the North Pole Adventure by Taila Carmi was going to be a good book just for younger kids, but after reading it I think that is a great book even for me! And I am happy my mom put it in our collection! The story starts with Abagail's grandparents coming over with her bicycle, which happens to be magic! She remembers her past adventures and can't wait to sneak away and have another! After the adventure is over Abigail gets to keep a present given to her to remember the friends she made.
My favorite characters were Abigail and also a little boy she met names Siku because they were nice enough to help a cub off a piece of ice that I learned was really called a ice floe. I enjoyed reading about Abigail on her adventure because I thought she was very thoughtful, smart and adventurous. Abigail found herself in a few situations that she had to think quickly about and she was very much a hero for feeling she could do something about the helpless situation someone was in, was in.
My sister who is 6, really enjoyed the bright colors and drawings in this book and I love to draw pictures about characters I see. So as soon as I finished reading the book I drew my favorite part! I am really happy that I got a chance to read Abigail and the North Pole adventure and I hope my mother gets the other 2 books Abigail and the Sahara Adventure and Abigail and the jungle adventure. I also hope that more books come out! Oh, and if you like this book of one of the other books Tali Carmi also has a series called Terry Treetop that is about a boy and his nature adventures. Both series are available on Amazon Kindle right now for a low price.

I enjoyed reading this book with my daughters 6 & 8. It was vibrantly colored, the illustrations were beautiful and it was well written. Although the main character was a female, I didn't find that the book leaned more to girls which I saw as silent plus to pass on. I also liked the thoughtful heroism role that Abigail took on in her adventure and saw her as likable and thoughtful. The author and illustrator worked together nicely and the book was well thought out. I liked how the book was able to work in facts that were relevant to the story and lead the story by the hand from one adventure to another. I thought the Main character and other characters in this book were realistic and caring. I honestly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who has a child who likes animals, adventures, fantasy or nature.
