I wanted to review this book in hopes to find meals I could substitute for meals containing. I did find a few that worked and found recipes that I could make with meat while not allowing the meat to be a major part of the meal, which I think is a step in the right direction.
There are a lot of ingredients that go into making one of these meals so if you are 1 or 2 ingredients short you can still have a good meal.
The book is very interesting to look through and is well written, definitely worth a try, there is more then just salads, mousse , omelets, parfaits,sandwiches, soups, meals for parties, pasta sauces, burritos, tortillas, deserts like caramel apples. I can definitely see myself keeping this book around especially on those long hot summer days were all I can think about is making a light no fuss nutritious meal or meals that can be done in 15 minutes.
The introduction has a detailed description of what a Vegetarian really is and the benefits of being a vegetarian. You can also sign up to receive notifications on new books through the introduction.
