Guy Erma and the Son of Empire by Sally Ann Melia book review

Guy Erma and the Son of Empire is a story of a new world fighting against plague, civil war and political power, that is well.... not thinking in the best interest of the public. Oh, and they have to defend 12 other planets in their domain also.

There are two 13 year old boys that lead this story. Prince Teodor, still counts the days since his father's death and is not ready to accept his fate to be king. And is forced to grow up fast in a world within worlds were plagues and violence from aliens, pirates and vicious feuds are as frequent as a passing star.

Which is what another boy Erma wishes on. He is an orphan who is forced to live in slum and wants nothing more then to become a member of the Dome Elite. A high honor rewarded greatly for the dangers of keeping the worlds safe. Both boys find themselves forced to impress one man in order to become what they feel they are destined to be and are thrown together and become unlikely friends.

This Sci-fiction adventure is the first book in a new series, it was released in November of last year 2014. It is a fast paced adventurous novel that is well written, well thought out and has a character for everyone.  I would recommend it for 15 year olds and over and definitely anyone who loves parallel universes, hidden agendas and under dogs.
